This 5-day short course empowers participants with the knowledge and tools to use technology confidently, safely, and creatively in education. The course addresses the specific realities of African classrooms and communities, helping bridge the digital divide and ensuring no learner is left behind.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming education worldwide, offering innovative solutions to enhance learning, teaching, and administration. In Africa, AI presents unique opportunities to bridge educational gaps, personalize learning, and improve accessibility. However, it also raises challenges related to ethics, digital access, and cultural relevance.
This short content course explores the role of AI in African education, equipping participants with knowledge and practical tools to integrate AI into their learning environments. Over five days, participants will learn about AI fundamentals, explore real-world applications, engage in hands-on AI tool sessions, and discuss ethical and social implications specific to Africa.
By the end of the course, participants will have developed an AI-integration action plan tailored to their schools or communities, preparing them to contribute to Africa’s digital transformation in education.
